Packaging Specialist

As our Packaging Specialist, you will play a key role in adding value by taking ownership of executing supply chain strategies and activities that align with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

You will ensure the accurate and timely completion of all administrative tasks. Additionally, you will coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Work with the Products team and packaging suppliers to finalize designs and provide feasible packaging solutions.
• Ensure packaging meets all requirements by ordering, reviewing, and confirming samples across departments before mass production.
• Identify potential risks in packaging production and coordinate contingency plans with relevant teams.
• Analyze production demand and packaging costs, optimizing structures and processes to reduce costs.
• Manage packaging data, artwork version control, and factory printing documentation.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply while preventing shortages or overstock.
• Supervise packaging quality, address complaints, and drive improvement initiatives with suppliers.
• Implement vendor management strategies to enhance supplier performance and compliance.

Your profile

We expect that you hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. We expect you bring solid experience within packaging into the role – ideally, from a global company. Your attention to detail, follow-up skills and adherence to processes are second nature to you. Given the need to collaborate with various stakeholders, excellent communication skills are essential. You thrive as a results-driven team player with a proactive attitude.

Your computer skills are highly proficient. It is a plus if you have experience with Illustrator or other design tools. Fluency in both written and spoken English is important.
