Hoare Lea has joined Tetra Tech’s High Performance Buildings Group, a global alliance of MEP firms.
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a PA to the Directors within our Manchester office. You will be responsible for coordinating diaries, organising meetings and events, and preparing letters, fee proposals, presentations, and reports whilst working to tight deadlines. In addition, you will:
- Respond to varied office operational matters
- Support bid development requests from clients
- Act as a point of contact for People and Development group and carry out general HR duties
The role will involve project managing business initiatives and supporting the implementation of operational processes within the business. The role aims to support and manage effective change to meet the business objectives set and ensures communication and engagement of change to the business.
The role will initially be recruited to cover maternity leave starting from 1st September 2024.
What we are looking for
- You will be a well organised individual who thrives on working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be a strong communicator, confident and methodical with an excellent eye for detail. As a team player, you will be keen to get involved, with a positive and can-do attitude and a passion for producing great results.
- You will need to have excellent IT skills with a high level of accuracy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, InDesign, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent presentation, communication and team working skills.
- High level of numeracy and literacy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to gain respect quickly from individuals at all levels.
- Good eye for detail, with the ability to organise and multi-task.
- Able to take initiative, deal with difficult situations calmly, and deliver when the Directors are absent from the office.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products including Microsoft projects.
