Scope and Purpose
The Company is seeking an Operational Risk Manager within the Risk Management team. Based in Dublin, this is an exceptional job opportunity with a top‑tier asset management company. The role is a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will report to the Team Head of Operational Risk and will focus on managing and supporting the oversight of the operational risk arising from delegation of services to third parties. Specifically, the successful candidate will carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate the annual updates of the risk appetite, risk register and corporate stress tests
- Coordinate the production of the annual operational risk self-assessment, reputational risk self-assessment and ICAAP
- Track operational risk KPIs, incidents and financial losses from operational events
- Support ESG compliance controls
- Support the remediation of critical situations when they arise
- Contribute to the improvement of the risk management processes and risk management documentation
Required Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
- Hands on, detail oriented, perseverant, able to run accurate analysis on large amounts of data under pressure
- Good coordination, presentation and communication skills, team player
- Risk management experience is a must, ESG experience is an advantage
- Languages: English is essential, Italian is an advantage.
