Job Type: Permanent

Location: We want to set you up for success, and the majority of out training will be office based in our Edinburgh office for the first 4-6 months, with some flexibility. At the end of the training and initial go live period this will move to one day per week in the office or more if you wish which will be mutually discussed and agreed with your manager.

The role

We are currently looking to recruit a team of Non Advice Consultants to join our Telephony Guidance area.  This is a fantastic opportunity for people who enjoy building rapport and putting customers at the heart of what they do.  If you have a burning desire to help customers put in place the plans they need to have the future they dream of then we would love to hear from you.  As a Customer Consultant in our Telephony Guidance team, you will provide an informed choice to our customers regarding saving for their future over the telephone.

What are we looking for?

Chartered Insurance Institute R01 & RO4 or Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent exams via alternative body such as CISI or LIBF. (Essential, if you do not have this, we will be unable to proceed)

Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in pension industry on a direct to customer basis with a passion to help customers achieve their financial goals, delivering good customer outcomes in a relevant and customer focussed way

Significant experience of conducting customer focused conversations, using effective questioning and listening skills to build rapport and providing guidance or product based support, assisting them to achieving their goals over the telephone.

Skilled at adapting communication techniques to support diverse customer groups including customer vulnerability

Familiar with the expectations surrounding personal development and record keeping in a training and competence framework setting
