Motion Designer & Video Editor
Location: Remote
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Employment Type: Contract, 12 Months, Hourly
Compensation: $8 - $10 USD per Hour
About the Role
Huemor is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor to create compelling video content for social platforms and websites. This role partners closely with leadership to establish a consistent visual style that aligns with Huemor’s brand identity and produces polished, high-impact video content across long-form and short-form formats.
What You’ll Do
- Work with leadership to define and maintain a consistent visual look and feel for video content.
- Edit long-form videos for platforms such as YouTube and website embeds and edit short-form videos for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Incorporate sound editing, sound effects, motion graphics, transitions, and modern visual effects to deliver a polished final product.
- Manage multiple video projects at once while meeting timelines and quality expectations.
- Translate creative direction and client vision into engaging visual storytelling.
What We’re Looking For
- Available to collaborate in real time between 9am and 5pm Eastern Time.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in film editing or a related field and demonstrated experience editing videos for YouTube and social media.
- Mastery of video and audio editing software and are comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong passion for filmmaking, videography, and visual storytelling and can turn ideas into compelling finished work.
- Experience creating concept boards or other visual representations and bring strong communication skills to align on scope and expectations.
