Your role as Account Manager

Are you ready to further build your career in digital marketing? In this position, you play an important role within the Benelux team, where you manage your own client portfolio and work on growing affiliate marketing programs.

As an Account Manager, you are the first point of contact for your clients and collaborate daily with publishers and colleagues to achieve strong results. You will have the freedom to take responsibility while continuing to learn—ideal for someone with foundational digital experience ready for the next step.

This role is perfect for someone who already has relevant experience in digital marketing or account management and wants to further develop professionally.

Your Responsibilities

  • Account management & optimization: manage your own Benelux client portfolio and work on optimizing affiliate programs.
  • Analysis & advice: analyze data, identify opportunities, and translate them into concrete recommendations for your clients.
  • Relationship management: build sustainable relationships with clients and publishers within the Benelux region.
  • Reporting & insights: prepare reports, present insights, and share learnings with your clients.
  • Problem solving: identify bottlenecks and proactively think about solutions together with colleagues.
  • Collaboration: work closely with the Benelux team while leveraging the expertise and support of international departments where relevant.

Who You Are

  • You have an HBO degree in a commercial or communication-related field.
  • You have relevant experience in digital marketing, online advertising, or account management, enough to work independently, with the ambition to grow further.
  • You have basic knowledge of digital campaigns and understand models such as CPA/CPL.
  • You communicate clearly in Dutch and English.
  • You are analytical, eager to learn, and driven to develop further.
  • You work independently but enjoy teaming up with colleagues to achieve the best results.
  • You have experience with Excel and are open to learning tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Flexi-Week: Awin works with a four-day workweek. During busy periods, there may temporarily be a five-day workweek (up to nine times per year).
  • Working Wherever: you can work from one of our international locations for up to three months per year.
  • Hybrid working: you work on average one to two days per week in the office.
