Joining an established and close-knit marketing team in a central support function, your primary role will be supporting the Head of Marketing and Engagement across the full marketing mix and bringing ElectraLink into contact with online and offline audiences. This is a newly created role for a growing organisation that is involved in exciting new projects and working towards the country’s Net Zero goals.

What you will do

  • Create content for a number of communications channels including the ElectraLink website, social media, blogs, PowerPoint presentations and general stakeholder and internal communications.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of our social media channels including scheduling posts and monitoring performance.
  • Lead on the continued development of ElectraLink’s intranet through liaison with respective content owners.
  • Provide support for ElectraLink’s varied calendar of events including webinars, speaking opportunities and in-person events.
  • Assist with post-event activities including organising feedback and working with the sales team to understand the value of the event.
  • Conduct market research and analyse competitor activities.

What you'll need

  • A strong work ethic and drive to always be learning.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time and tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office tools.
  • An evident interest in pursuing a career in marketing.
  • No experience is necessary as our highly skilled team can offer support, guidance and training.
  • Capable of working well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideal candidates will have one or more of the following: GCSE Grade A*-C / 4-9 in English, an A-level in English or business, a degree in marketing or a similar subject such as business or events, or the equivalent CIM qualification.

Interview process

There will be a two-stage interview process consisting of 1) a writing task and conversational interview and 2) a presentation.
