We’re on the lookout for a talented Marketing Assistant to join our client who is an innovative and growing company in the UK industrial door market. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales/Marketing Assistant to join their enthusiastic team. This role is essential in supporting their sales and marketing initiatives, and would be great for someone who possesses a strong understanding of sales processes and marketing strategies, with the ability to contribute to their overall goals. The role will report to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the overall marketing strategy through a range of marketing campaigns in order to drive growth.
- Support the sales team by managing our CMI system, tracking leads, managing appointments and updating customer information.
- Drive outbound marketing campaigns and improve inbound lead qualification.
- Web management – creating, editing and uploading content such as case studies.
- Developing and executing organic social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns with company vision and growth objectives.
- Monitor social media channels daily, engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages in a timely manner in order to keep the brand in front of the marketplace.
- Planning and executing email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, case studies and product announcements, ensuring the messaging aligns with the overall strategy and vision.
- Support in coordinating photography and videography shoots for marketing assets.
- Organising and managing events and other promotional activities
- Chase, receive and complete all questionnaires issued by main contractors so for visibility on all of their databases
- Assist on work with architects and design teams to enable products to be specified on future projects.
- Working with marketing agencies and lead generators to help their growth.
Key Experience / Skills Required:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of marketing experience
- A Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident when using the phone
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated and capable of working and, if required, travelling by yourself
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong presentation skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for marketing
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and marketing tools
- Proficiency with AI platforms (preferred but not essential)
