Hours: 32 hours per week (4 day working week)

Job snapshot:

To fit with our passionate, dedicated and high performing team, we seek a motivated self-starter and approachable team member who demonstrates a strong work ethic and integrity at all times. As we continue to grow at pace, you will fill a critical gap, offering both marketing and administrative support to our APAC team.

You will act as the go-between for local managers with our UK based marketing department, to support local marketing initiatives and events, while assisting in an administrative capacity to ensure the smooth operation of our growing APAC office. You’ll be a great communicator and a people person who enjoys interacting with a diverse range of individuals. This role may suit someone with a marketing support background or otherwise an administrative background with a keen interest in marketing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Being the main point of contact between UK marketing team and local managers to coordinate events and marketing activities
  • Liaising with Events team to identify & source local marketing & promotional material to support APAC events for two entities
  • Sourcing local marketing & promotional material to support two fast growing entities and multiple products in the dynamic edtech market
  • Owning and maintaining a register of marketing collateral and ensure communication between teams to support changes and updates
  • Owning and maintaining events kit inventory, ensure that all elements required for events are catalogued and logged in/out for each event
  • Booking event venues and liaising with conference venues pre-event to organise stand and delegate passes
  • Booking flights and accommodation for delegates in line with event budgets
  • Organising shipping requirements as needed to/from events and other peripheral event needs
  • Maintaining accuracy of our local content for our websites, print material and other online information
  • Liaising with local teams to produce bespoke newsletters and marketing to segmented customer and prospect lists
  • Offering administrative / office support across a range of functions to ensure smooth operation of APAC office
  • Organising meetings, team lunches and social events
  • Purchasing and organising office supplies
  • Accurate and timely data-entry for accounts payable
  • Processing employee expense claims from events ensuring thorough record-keeping and account allocation
  • Maintaining local intranet to keep local team informed

What we’re hoping you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary / further education in marketing or events (preferred)
  • Previous experience in marketing and event administration (essential)
  • Previous experience in office administration (essential)
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency working with Google drive and Google suite of products
  • Strong organisational skills and a sense of responsibility and accountability
  • Ability to multitask and to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Enthusiasm and the ability to show initiative with a proactive approach
  • Previous experience in Xero (preferred, not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The desire to learn and take on new challenges in an ever-changing environment
