The opportunity

As the Manager, Communications you will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of communication activities to deliver the portfolio strategy outcomes.

Your new role

  • Design and implement communication plans, campaigns and materials to support QBE’s strategic agenda as it relates to Portfolio.
  • Write relevant, timely and engaging communication across channels including executive communication, QUBE, and social media (as relevant) to drive engagement and/or understanding of QBE’s strategy.
  • Deliver clear messages and materials that align with and support the corporate narrative and brand guidelines
  • Develop high-quality communications, demonstrating an understanding of our audiences and channels and what works best for each.
  • Deliver best practice communication and create a publishing culture which shares business news effectively.
  • Balance multiple priorities, work independently and as part of a team, keep others informed through clear written and oral communication and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Provide expert communication advice and guidance to the Portfolio to deliver a connected and consistent narrative supporting Portfolio and broader enterprise objectives.

About you

To be successful as a Manager, Communications you will have previous extensive experience with internal communications within a global enterprise.

You will also have;

  • Exceptional writing skills with a natural ability to move between audiences and channels and make the complex simple and compelling.
  • Well- developed interpersonal and communications skills that see you build strong relationships across all levels/divisions of the organisation.
  • Natural ability to move between audiences and channels and make the complex simple and compelling.
  • Experience executing communication plans and campaigns to support engagement and strategy.
  • Experience working with stakeholders and cross-functionally/divisionally on large projects and to tight deadlines.
