Poll Everywhere is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our marketing team! You will support our mission by engaging and nurturing our audience. In this role, you will own Poll Everywhere’s email system, as well as the configuration and day-to-day management of our HubSpot CRM, defining best practices for email deliverability and audience segmentation.

As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Poll Everywhere, you will maintain and own our HubSpot CRM, build email campaigns and workflows from the ground up, create and manage contact lists, perform email A/B testing, measure and report on email campaign performance, and oversee all lifecycle strategy. This role will report to the Director of Marketing.

Objectives of the role

  • Own end-to-end email marketing, including copywriting, strategy, list & workflow creation, audience segmentation, and analytical reporting.
  • Execute and improve comprehensive lifecycle email campaigns across multiple stages of the customer journey.
  • Own Hubspot CRM, including salesforce integrations, data cleanup, complex reporting, and other highly technical areas.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Teams to build a cohesive email ecosystem across the entire organization.

Daily & monthly responsibilities

  • Execute email build and sends, discovering opportunities to rinse and repeat, then automating nurtures to establish set goals.
  • Troubleshoot unexpected dips in email performance indicators, testing hypotheses for the why behind the metrics,, and taking actions to solve.
  • Improve A/B test emails across the organization by monitoring and improving deliverability, open, and click-through rates.
  • Adhere to best practices in email communications as they relate to data privacy.
  • Ensure Hubspot CRM is clean, accurate, and compliant with all security requirements.
  • Work with colleagues across the entire organization to ensure that emails express the consistency of brand and tone of voice.

Quarterly & yearly responsibilities

  • Build new lifecycle email workflows across content, acquisition, nurture, and retention.
  • Clean up our Hubspot CRM, and resolve all data issues to ensure the highest results from lifecycle efforts.
  • Open up new channels of acquisition and nurture for revenue generation, such as cold email.

Skills you need to be successful in the role

  • 3-5 years of experience in Lifecycle and Email Marketing, with increasing responsibility, complexity, and scale of work.
  • 3+ years experience in technical Hubspot CRM management, with a history of success in owning and monitoring Salesforce integrations, complex workflows, and data cleanup projects.
  • Extremely strong writing skills, able to quickly write compelling copy across different email stages.
  • Track record of scaling successful email marketing programs in Hubspot or similar tools, with the numbers to prove it.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate complex issues.

Nice to have's

  • Strong data analysis skills, including Excel.
  • Strong HubSpot website skills, including programming (HTML, Javascript)
  • HubSpot certifications (Marketing Hub, Data Migration, Email Marketing, or Reporting)
  • Visual design experience.
  • Experience in other marketing areas - this is a small company after all!

$97,000 - $122,000 a year

At Poll Everywhere we offer a comprehensive reward and cash compensation package. Our total rewards package includes medical, dental, and vision benefits - We cover 100% of your premiums for the base plan and 50% for dependents’ medical enrollment. We offer PPO medical, dental, and vision plans and an HSA/FSA. Up to a $100 monthly company match to your Health Care FSA or HSA account.

A PollEvian’s total cash compensation package is composed of two parts: a base salary and a potential end-of-year bonus of up to 8% that is dependent on company performance on top of the base salary. Our salary ranges take into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: the breadth and number of direct years of experience for the role we are hiring for within the SaaS industry, based on our company size. All salaries at Poll Everywhere also have a geographic differential associated with the resident location at which the position may be filled.

The hiring salary range for this role is $97,000 to $122,000 annually in most geographic locations across the United States. At the time of your initial call with our talent team please be ready to confirm your current residential location.
