The team
Come and join a design team on a unique mandate in a genre with high narrative content. We're looking for our Level Artist, to complement our very senior artistic team. Each of us contributes more thanjustourtitle; we'relooking for a colleaguewith the samebroaderinterest in the project as a whole. Weachievethisthroughour contributions both at high level (management) and directly in the creation of engine content. If youidentifywiththis description, thenweneed to talk!
What you will do
- Work closely with a Level Designer in the artistic creation of a game level;
- Consult, establish and work with graphic references and concept artists;
- Maintain the performance and memory budget of the respective environment;
- Develop textures and materials for the levels you will be in charge of, with the aim of making objects and environments credible according to the game's story and art direction;
- Optimize objects and environments according to individual constraints;
- Present your work to the team and directors, and receive comments, suggestions and modifications;
- Be able to delegate and share tasks with other artists at the same level, and be able to support people with less experience so that they can contribute to the needs of the project;
- Model objects and environments according to game design.
What you bring
- All levels are open with the following minimum years of experience: Intermediate 3 years and at least 1-2 published titles in video games, as a Level Artist ; Senior 6 years and at least 2-3 titles published in video games, as a Level Artist;
- Experience with Unreal 4 and/or 5;
- Experience in creating objects or environments with 3D software and the application of 2D art;
- Experience in creating textures and manipulating shaders;
- Very good technical/artistic balance.
