The position
The Legal team
Welcome to the Jungle's legal team, made up of 3 people, is an integral part of the Operations teams. Our mission? To provide operational and strategic support to all teams to support our growth in France and internationally. From drafting contracts to data protection, intellectual property and new technologies, we handle a wide range of legal matters on a daily basis. Our approach? Pragmatic, agile and business-friendly!
Your role
Reporting directly to our Senior Legal Counsel, you will quickly be involved in our projects, working closely with the Business, Marketing, Product, Tech and Marketing teams. At Welcome to the Jungle, the legal team is fully integrated into operations and actively participates in the company's strategic decisions. You will work on a variety of legal issues, notably technology law, commercial law, personal data protection law and intellectual property law. You will be able to develop your in-house legal practice and gain real hands-on legal experience.
Your missions
Legal support (general):
- Draft, analyze and negotiate all types of contracts: client contracts, service agreements, IT contracts, marketing partnerships, etc.
- Support our international expansion, notably to the US and the UK: adapt contracts to local laws, monitor legal specificities of foreign markets, participate in meetings with international teams in English
- Provide concrete legal advice to the different teams
Compliance:
- Monitor the EU AI Act and support our compliance: analyze the regulation's impact on our AI projects, draft recommendations, participate in meetings with technical teams
Organization & Knowledge Management:
- Contribute to the optimization of our contract management tool: organize files, update contract templates, etc.
- Create practical fact sheets and legal guides for operational teams
- Conduct proactive legal watch: follow legislative and case law developments in our areas of activity, draft summary notes for the legal team and relevant operational teams

What we offer
- Internship stipend of €1,200 or €1,400 gross per month depending on level of study
- Teleworking up to 50% of the time

Preferred experience
Education and experience
- You are enrolled in a Master 2 in business/commercial/IT law, with ideally an interest in data protection
- You have a first experience in a law firm or in-house (a plus if you have worked in a start-up)
- You are perfectly fluent in French and have a good level of English (essential for our international projects)
- You have an appetite for new technologies and the legal issues they raise
