Brief Description

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Leadership & Management Development Consultant to fill a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity to assist with the design and development of leadership and management programmes in support of Network Rail’s strategic business requirement for a cohort of skilled managers with high leadership capability. To deliver leadership and personal development training to a range of target groups as specified by the annual training plan. 

About the role (External)

What does the average day look like? 

The role of Leadership & Management Development Consultant is a multifaceted role in that you will undertake various duties including (but not limited to):

·        Deliver and facilitate high-quality leadership and personal development programmes and events.

·        Manage available resources effectively in order that delegates are motivated to learn and given every opportunity to achieve the learning objectives.

·        Develop training materials for new leadership and personal development programmes, amend and update existing materials, as required.

·        Assess the impact of leadership and personal development programmes through end-of-course evaluation questionnaires and feedback into the design process.

·        Working with the Development Co-ordinator, establish and maintain processes and systems for course scheduling, delegate call-up, place booking, issue of joining instructions and other administration requirements.

·        Assist the Leadership Development Manager in training needs analysis, programme design and evaluation, as necessary.

·        Contribute delivery and facilitation expertise as part of other scheduled learning programmes

 

What essential skills and experiences are required?

The successful candidate for this role will be required to be/have: -

1.     Experience of successfully delivering corporate level leadership and behavioural development.

2.     An engaging delivery style.

3.     Organisational skills and sound planning ability.

4.     Excellent team working skills.

How to apply (External)

Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: This role is based will be based at the successful candidates nearest Network Rail offices.  The successful candidate will be required to travel to various locations to deliver face to face sessions and to attend monthly team meetings.  .

Closing date: 22nd January 2024. On occasions, we may need to close the advert early based upon application volumes. Late applications will not be accepted.

Band & Salary: Band 4C - £43,588 - £49,036
