Duration: Permanent

Location: This role is based at The Quadrant, Milton Keynes, with various other locations to be considered. However regular weekly travel and overnight stays across the UK will be required.

Band & Salary: £71,163 - £80,059 (Subject to experience)

Brief Description

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced leader who can jump right in and make an impact. If you have a strong background in managing and coaching teams, along with experience in complex change programs and Systems Thinking, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be working closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams, so strong communication and relationship-building skills are key. This role involves regular national travel, with occasional overnight stays. If you’re passionate about developing your team, driving business improvement, and turning data into actionable decisions, this could be the perfect fit for you!

You'll be joining the Systems Thinking Team within the Transformation team of the Group Human Resources function. We're rapidly becoming the go-to team for our senior leaders when it comes to tackling strategic challenges

What does the average day look like?

In this role, you'll lead and manage the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary programmes that align with our strategic objectives. You'll be responsible for driving business change, with a strong focus on benefits realisation. Key responsibilities include delivering the Systems Thinking Partnership’s Business Plan, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet time, quality, and cost targets. You'll also coach senior leaders in Systems Thinking methodology, manage a team of specialists, oversee resource allocation, and establish governance to ensure effective programme delivery and decision-making.

Essential Criteria

·Be able to travel nationally on a regular basis, often staying overnight

·Relevant experience in the successful management of major and complex change programmes

·Proven experience in applying Systems Thinking methodology

·Proven experience in business improvement and business change management approaches

·Highly developed influencing, negotiation and relationship building / partnering skills with experience working with Executive Directors, Functional Directors and 3rd party senior colleagues.

·Proven ability to analyse and evaluate complex data to drive decision making from executive level to local leadership.

·Experience in managing (directly or indirectly) cross-functional teams in a customer-focused environment with evidence of enabling teams to meet their challenges.

·Knowledge of the principles of investment processes and procedures.
