We are currently recruiting for a Lead Finance Business Partner to join our retirement solutions and asset management expenses team which forms part of our wider Group FP&A team.

The role
Lead Finance Business Partner role is a strategic role that acts as a bridge between the finance function and other business units, providing financial expertise and insights to support decision-making and drive performance. Providing end-to-end expenses management, integrating BAU and Project expense partnering including responsibilities for project benefit realisation and setting and understanding cost allocation drivers. Support management of stakeholders across commercial, financial and actuarial teams to drive visibility of allocations of costs across BUs, entities, and by activity and the implications on business KPIs.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience of
- Business partnering within a complex, dynamic environment
- Challenging ExCo -1 stakeholders (and their teams) on business performance against targets
- Ability to manage competing deliverables whether across change and BAU, different stakeholder requirements, time constraints or other
- Understanding the inter-plays between change and BAU, such as project recharge/benefit tracking and ensuring interlock on both sides
- supporting delivery of the cost allocation processes and reporting throughout Phoenix.
- Support management of stakeholders across commercial, financial and actuarial teams to drive visibility of allocations of costs across BUs, entities, and by activity and the implications on business KPIs.
- Driving collaboration, proactive engagement in reducing inefficiencies and looking for improved ways of working
