We are looking for a talented IT/Web Designer (Part-Time) to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our brand and business objectives. The role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who is proficient in web design, development, and troubleshooting. The IT/Web Designer will collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure websites are optimized for performance, functionality, and user experience.
Website Design & Development: Create and design responsive websites that reflect the company’s brand and meet business goals.
User Experience (UX) Design: Ensure a seamless, intuitive, and visually appealing user experience across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
Website Layout & Navigation: Plan and implement website layouts, structure, and navigation to enhance usability.
Content Management & Updates: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to manage, update, and optimize website content.
SEO Optimization: Ensure that all web pages are optimized for search engines to drive traffic and improve rankings.
Graphics & Visual Elements: Create or edit graphics, banners, and other design elements for website content.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve any technical issues related to the website’s functionality, performance, or security.
Plugin Integration: Integrate and manage necessary plugins and tools to enhance website performance and user engagement.
Regular Website Audits: Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and current trends.
Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality web solutions.
- Proven experience as a Web Designer, IT Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design technologies.
- Experience with website builders and content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Squarespace, or Wix.
- Familiarity with UX/UI best practices.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and optimization techniques.
- Graphic design skills with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with web security protocols and best practices.
- Hourly rate ranges from $6 to $9, depending on experience.
