The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing IT support across our organization for all incidents and service requests submitted by on-site and remote users, as well as maintaining hardware and software installations, improving IT systems, and security. This position will be the first point of contact for all IT-related requests and will work within the Business Applications team.  This role is hybrid, with three days in our NYC office and one day remote.

The IT Support Specialist will work our service desk to ensure all incidents and service requests are resolved within our SLAs. This employee will also play a critical role in maintaining and improving IT security. This role will occasionally work on various technology projects as part of a larger team. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, ability to explain technical issues in non technical terms, and a desire to drive continuous improvements.  

Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Account provisioning including all onboarding and offboarding
    • Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting end user computing devices including laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, video conferencing equipment, and wireless devices
    • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting supported operating systems and applications 
    • Network maintenance
    • Maintenance of inventory of IT assets
    • Troubleshooting technical issues across different operating systems (macOS, Windows)
    • Coordination with IT vendors when needed
    • Enforcement of security policies
    • Providing training on systems and technology to end users when needed
    • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
    • Research of new technology to improve business needs

Must Haves

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years experience with end user IT support
    • Experience with JAMF and Intune
    • Experience utilizing a ticketing system Strong macOS and Windows experience
    • Google Admin and SSO knowledge
    • Knowledge of basic network infrastructure such as routers, switches, access points, etc
    • Knowledge of networking technologies such as IP, DNS, DHCP, Video Conferencing, VPN, etc
    • Understanding of hardware setup and software installations including Gmail, Office365, Dropbox, Slack
    • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy
    • This role will occasionally require getting under desks/on a ladder and lifting boxes and equipment up to 40 pounds.

Nice to Haves

    • Working knowledge of one scripting language
    • Previous experience working with API integrations
    • JAMF Certifications
    • Experience with Netsuite or Celigo
$70,000 - $75,000 a year
The base range for this role is $70,000-$75,000. This role is also eligible for Primary stock options as a component of our total compensation philosophy.
