IT Project Manager - Investment Banking

Purpose and Activities

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with IT and financial skills, capable of leading complex IT projects from analysis to delivery, ensuring quality, timing and budget compliance.

A good knowledge of processes and topics related to Investment Banking and Capital Markets operations is required.

Duties and responsibilities: • Define objectives, scope, deliverables, timing and project resources in collaboration with the business. • Prepare and manage project plans, roadmaps and progress reporting. • Coordinate the work of internal teams (developers, system engineers, analysts) and external vendors. • Monitor and manage project risks, issues and change requests. • Ensure proper communication with business and IT stakeholders. • Manage budgets and resources, monitoring costs and reporting any deviations. • Ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. • Support the testing, release and go-live phases, facilitating solution adoption.

Required Experience • 3-5 years of experience managing complex projects in Information Technology. • Solid experience in planning, monitoring and controlling projects with significant budgets and multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competences • Degree or higher diploma in one of: computer-science, economics, mathematics, management engineering, computer engineering, finance. • Good command of English at fluent level. • Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Scrum). • Good knowledge of the phases of a software development project: requirements analysis, functional analysis and testing. • Experience in end-to-end project life-cycle management: requirements analysis, planning, development, testing, release and post go-live support. • Proven experience managing executive-level stakeholders. • Ability to coordinate external vendors and technology partners, managing contracts, SLAs and KPIs. • Experience in finance contexts and IT governance, with skills in cost evaluation and resource optimization.
