In this busy and varied role, you will own the day-to-day execution, processing and tracking all IT procurement activity and contract management of suppliers while maintaining key supplier and internal relationships.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- Day to day responsibility for all procurement activity, tracking and optimisation of third party spend;
- Support the execution of the procurement plan and strategy for the requirements from suppliers;
- Executing Procurement activities and responsible for supporting strategic and commercial decisions regarding financial and contractual performance;
- Communication and management of relationship with external suppliers and partners at the relevant seniority levels, through the end-to-end Procurement and Contract Management lifecycle;
- Accountability for accurate and timely management information;
- Pro-active engagement with the business and/or service functions to plan and support procurement activity, supplier relationship and performance management and contract management;
- Reconciliation of services provided and adherence to contractual terms.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Managing Contract Management activity end to end including supplier management and financial performance;
- Experience in procurement processes, regulations, and practice
