Scope and Purpose

The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of live deals, managing internal processes as well as supporting the outbound marketing activity. Additionally, he will be responsible for the production of materials for internal approval committees, syndication purposes and marketing efforts. Primary responsibilities will include:

Origination

• Manage pitch processes in cooperation with other teams across the bank;
• Interact with external clients and internal stakeholders;
• Build and maintain internal and external networks;
• Maintain high degree of market awareness and identify new business opportunities

Execution

• Manage the day-to-day execution of live deals, with a solid understanding of the transaction process from end-to-end;
• Have a sound understanding of internal mechanisms of the organization;
• Collaborate and coordinate with other areas of the bank to ensure smooth marketing/approval processes and deal execution;
• Interact with clients and with other advisors (lawyers, co-advisors, etc.) at an appropriate level;
• Monitoring and management of the credit performance of the portfolio.

Required Experience

3-5+ years' experience within a front office Investment Banking environment (ideally within Leveraged and Acquisition Finance) or a leading advisory/accounting firm

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

• Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting from a leading university with an excellent academic record
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Proven advanced credit/risk analysis and financial modelling skills;
• Deep knowledge of cashflow financing;
• Adept at receiving and synthesizing information;
• Show outstanding analytical skills;
• Experience managing Term Debt & HYB transactions, from origination to structuring and execution;
• Ability to analyse and conduct independent due diligence of transactions, plus identify industry/market trends;
• Good knowledge of legal and contractual features of LBO financing;
• Background in preparation of marketing materials / commercial pitches to clients.
