Mercor is hiring experienced Investment Banking Experts to participate in an exciting new project focused on benchmarking and improving the capabilities of cutting-edge AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers to develop realistic financial and business scenarios
• Design and review investment banking–style prompts, responses, work products, and more
• Provide feedback on logic, clarity, and financial rigor
• Work with a team to complete small project sprints

Ideal Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior experience in investment banking, ideally at a top U.S. bank (Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley)
• Based in the U.S. or Canada
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate with a small group and willingness to iterate
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail

Project Timeline

• Start Date: October 3rd
• Duration: 6–8 weeks
• Commitment: 30+ hours per week

Note: 30 hours minimum is required for participation on this project.

Compensation & Contract

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($90–$110 USD/hr)
• Top performers may receive bonus incentives ranging from $20–$100/hr on top of their pay rate
• Independent contractor
• Payment via Stripe Connect
