ICT Team
Central within IBG are engineers that focus on ICT, a well-designed ICT is fundamental to the functionality of any building, and its value. A truly future-proofed building needs a secure and flexible network environment – one that can dynamically evolve alongside the changing stakeholder needs and the adoption of new technologies.
Effective digital infrastructure ensures that all interconnected devices can communicate seamlessly across a building’s estate and beyond. It can also extract data to both inform a building’s performance and respond to user needs.
Working with landlords, developers, and project teams, we create flexible and expandable ICT solutions that achieve industry-recognised certifications and transform a structure into an intelligent building.
We actively work within BIM, using tools such as BIM 360, where we model ICT equipment in 3D. This requirement continues to grow within our exciting sector.
User roles, leveraging use cases upon big data made available by the digital transformation of buildings, and providing user experience on this data through various user interfaces (UI's). Within the IBMS team, we design technical solutions to consume and normalise data into a "big data" platform, apply metadata to enrich the data sets, and design the leverage of use cases from upon this common normalised data set around building user, FM, and analytic "data mining" roles.
