We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Head of Talent to join our Talent team.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: This role could be based in either our London, or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.
Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.

Salary and benefits: £100,000 to £125,000 plus 30% bonus up to 60 %, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role
This is a critical partnership role that will allow the individual to design and deliver talent and learning solutions that drive the People and Business Strategy. The Head of Talent Journey will lead the talent and learning agenda for Functions/Asset Management or for the Business Units, using their skills, expertise and knowledge across the breadth of the talent lifecycle. The role will have dual reporting into the HRD’s and Talent Journey Director as to ensure a deep understanding of the skill, capability, leadership and talent priorities within the aligned area. You will be responsible for developing and delivering solutions to address the business needs and to build strong, long term, diverse talent pipelines. You will bring insight into the Talent Journey team to enable enterprise wide solutions to be developed along with prioritisation of resources, budgets, and themes. This role requires the individual to be both strategic and operational.

- A strategic thinker, with experience of developing strategy and plans
- Experience delivering talent programmes for different teams
- Experience managing a budget
- Deep SME knowledge and experience in Learning or Talent
- Insight Driven, experience using data to influence and report
