Bunny Studio is looking to hire a Head of New Business Development!

We are not just looking for a Head of New Business Development but for a real hunter. Someone who can chase leads and knows how to sell and negotiate. Someone who is not afraid to approach new customers has perseverance and quickly understands customer needs. Someone who understands technology and recognizes opportunities. Somebody like you.

You'll be responsible for pipeline generation through outbound activities for Bunny Studio ONE and instructional design. Bunny Studio ONE is our new subscription service, and we're looking forward to exponentially growing this effort. This opportunity is perfect for someone who wants to implement processes from the ground up! We're looking for someone based in LATAM.

You will report to the CEO and have the opportunity to directly contribute to one of Bunny Studio's exponential growth efforts for 2023.

About the role

You will focus your skills and experience to help drive growth and positively contribute to teaming up with the world's best creatives. As Head of New Business Development for Bunny Studio ONE and Instructional Design, you'll ensure effective research, engagement, and connection with potential new customers. Engage personally in acquiring key prospects for Bunny Studio ONE and Instructional Design through outbound sales engagements via phone, email, and social outreach. You'll also provide feedback on inbound leads and input into campaign development to optimize messaging and targeting.

Challenges you'll work on in your first six months with Bunny Studio

For the first six months, your primary focus will be on the following challenges:

  • Learn about Bunny Studio ONE and Instructional Design service, and understand our customer needs and requirements. This role is part of our leadership track professional growth path. Nonetheless, the short- mid-term expectation is a high level of execution as you learn about our product and services. Having direct contact with prospects is the fastest way to learn.
  • Manage a team of freelance outbound business development reps responsible for outbound sales engagements via phone, email, and social outreach.
  • Engage personally in outbound sales engagements and close deals.
  • Design and drive the entire sales process from prospecting through opportunity development and deal closure to post-sale kickoff.

What you'll do

  • Grows revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities with new customers.
  • Sets Commercial and B2B sales strategy through a segmented approach
  • Engage personally in acquiring key prospects for Bunny Studio ONE and Instructional Design through outbound sales engagements via phone, email, and social outreach.
  • Partner with marketing on defining personalized email campaign follow-ups and reporting to engage with prospects and generate demand for Bunny Studio ONE and Instructional Design.
  • Be a key business partner for the CEO, executive team, and Sales Leaders and identify, prioritize and deliver impactful initiatives to improve our commercial performance
  • Onboard, train, and manage a team of freelance sales development reps and AEAs responsible for outbound sales engagements via phone, email, and social outreach.
  • Design and drive the entire sales process from prospecting through opportunity development and deal closure to post-sale kickoff.
  • Build out a Sales Development program using best-in-class tools and tactics.
  • Manage the daily activities and quotas of SDRs and AEAs to ensure critical weekly and monthly performance metrics are met and exceeded.
  • Develop SDRs and AEAs' sequencing and nurturing cadence and prospecting tactics.
  • Create metrics related to sourcing leads from new outbound sales efforts.
  • Research targeted accounts to identify key contacts and information for team outreach.
  • Prospect into target accounts, utilizing outbound sales tools, campaigns, and social outreach.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the latest trends within the relevant target industries to adapt messaging to prospects' needs and areas of interest.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Empower individuals and teams to exceed objectives through mentorship, KPI checkpoints, and other incentives.
  • Regularly report on team and individual performance - lead quantity, quality, and revenue.
  • Partner with sales leaders and reps to ensure lead quality/quantity and accurate follow-up.
  • Work closely with customer operations to create and implement new processes, as well as make recommendations for process improvements that impact efficiency and productivity
  • Make recommendations to management to help define strategy and processes to improve productivity and scale the impact of the team on pipeline sourced and revenue generated
  • Assist the Sales & Marketing teams with identifying target sectors and organizations.
  • Own improvements on lead generation, lead prioritization, and top-of-funnel enhancements.
  • Developing strong industry networks and representing Bunny Studio in-market and at events.

  • Significant business development leadership experience.
  • Loves the hunt for prospecting and is effective at scaling their pipeline.
  • Extensive experience in a sales or sales development role with a high call volume environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing SDR programs and playbooks to drive best practice behaviors and measurable outcomes.
  • Top-of-funnel sales pipe expert, highly disciplined, and a structured thinker with execution excellence.
  • Prior experience in direct-to-brand, SaaS sales and leadership, and sales coaching are a must-have.
  • Experience conducting a high volume of outbound phone and email activity.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets by running a disciplined and consultative sales process with large, complex prospect organizations.
  • Excellent English presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Previously trained in consultative/value-based selling.
  • Experience using a CRM, preferably Hubspot.
  • Advanced proficiency using one or more sales tools: Salesloft, Interseller, Lavender, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Chorus/gong, and Outreach.
  • Results-driven with solid business and sales acumen to discuss prospects' business needs to align Bunny Studio fit before presenting value.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and collaboration abilities.
  • Enjoys contributing to a company culture that celebrates performance, diversity, and the participation of all team members.

The salary for this role will be USD $61,397.99 - USD $94,458.45 depending on the city you live in. We kindly request that you ensure that the gross salary we offer is within your income expectations before you apply.
