Job Type: Permanent

Location: This role could be based in any of our Edinburgh, Wythall, London or Telford Offices with time spent working in the office and from home.

Salary and benefits: £120k-£135k plus 30% bonus up to 60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role

The Head of ERM Reporting and Transformation will lead the Finance team dedicated to the delivery of modelling, SME review and analysis in support of structuring for ERM securitisations, assumption changes management actions and other commercial initiatives and will  provide quality and insight and MI in respect of back book performance to support commercial management of the business.

In addition, this role will oversee all inbound change and transformation activity in respect of Phoenix’s ERM valuation models, implementing and operating am efficient and highly controlled change process which ensures a safe and efficient landing for new products, regulatory changes and other strategic change initiatives impacting ERM into Financial Reporting Processes.

As a key growth area for Phoenix’s business, we are embarking on a journey to enhance and transform our toolkit and processes for ERM reporting and the successful applicant will lead this change on behalf of the Actuarial Reporting teams, helping shape the strategic direction, mobilising delivery activity and leading the change.

What are we looking for?

• Significant experience working on Financial Management and/or modelling of Equity Release Management

• Strong Leadership skills, with a track record of leading teams through organisational change and/or process transformation.

• Significant Impact and the ability to influence a range of stakeholders at all levels and lead them through critical decision-making.

• Track record of successful change and transformation delivery within the actuarial space, including delivery of complex model and process changes.

• Strong focus on governance and controls, with experience of developing and/or operating control framework for change and/or regulatory reporting.

• Strong technical skills, with deep experience of SII and IFRS Actuarial Reporting, Modelling Techniques
