Job description
We're looking for a Growth Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, data, and product strategy. In this role, you'll drive revenue growth by optimizing our upsell and conversion funnels through rapid experimentation, data-driven insights, and smart automation.
You'll be the technical engine behind our growth initiatives—building in-product experiences, running experiments, and creating the infrastructure that helps us understand and influence user behavior at scale.

Job requirements
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement end-to-end growth experiments—from hypothesis to implementation to post-launch analysis
- Build and ship behavior-based user experiences that drive onboarding, activation, and retention across Nmbrs product suite
- Use product data and funnel analytics to identify friction, uncover opportunities, and prioritize engineering work that delivers business impact
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data and Marketing colleagues to deliver high-velocity experiments that improve core funnel metrics
- Leverage A/B testing frameworks and in-app engagement tools to optimize personalized user journeys
- Build internal tools and automation to support rapid iteration and testing infrastructure
- Share experiment outcomes, insights, and next-step recommendations with stakeholders across product and business function
What you'll bring:
- Proficiency in HTML and comfortable working with frontend technologies (essential for WalkMe implementation)
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis methods
- Hands-on experience building automations in HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with data pipeline concepts and tools—you can maintain and troubleshoot data flows
- Solid understanding of APIs and integration platforms like Zapier and n8n
- You understand user psychology, conversion funnels, and behavioral drivers
- You can translate numbers into narratives and actionable insights
- Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working across functions with design, data, and marketing colleagues
- Proactive in sharing learnings and advocating for data-informed decisions
- Speak English fluently (fluency in Dutch is a plus)

- Nmbrs offers the opportunity to go on an exchange to our offices in Lisbon or Stockholm for up to 4 months
