We are looking for a talented Group Product Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis to lead and inspire our product management team.

Role Overview: As the Group Product Manager for the Argos App, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of our app's product strategy. You will line manage a Product Manager and a Senior Product Manager, ensuring that our app continues to meet the needs of our customers and drives business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for the Argos App, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, including a Product Manager and a Senior Product Manager, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to deliver high-quality product features and enhancements.
  • Conduct market research and analyse customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.
  • Define and prioritise the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of the app and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the Argos App remains competitive and innovative.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering App centric products.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing and developing a team of product managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for digital innovation and a deep understanding of mobile app development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
