Bristol
Hoare Lea is an award-winning engineering consultancy with a creative team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. We provide innovative solutions to complex engineering and design challenges for buildings.
Irrespective of the scale or complexity of a project, we provide a full range of MEP, environmental, and sustainability services, bringing buildings to life and ensuring that they perform in operation as well as they look.
Hoare Lea has joined Tetra Tech’s High-Performance Buildings Group, a global alliance of MEP firms.
Purpose
A strong brand is essential for businesses. In turn, those brands need creativity to connect and communicate with their audiences. Increasingly this challenge is being taken up by in-house teams. Our Creative Studio, working as part of our Marketing team, is doing just that. As part of this team, you will help provide creative graphic design support to the firm.
Why work for us?
The Hoare Lea Marketing team is a small but effective and energetic group of people. We’re a friendly bunch, who help each other out whenever needed, and we always welcome new ideas, fresh approaches, and excitement.
We are the firm’s go-to team for all things communication, content, and high-level marketing – whether that be through strategy development, general guidance, or more practical day-to-day content creation. Take a look at the Hoare Lea website to get a feel for everything we create: from events, insights, and films, to an industry-leading magazine, podcast, and thought leadership.
We predominately support the firm in the sectors and specialisms in which it has expertise, but also more broadly in terms of the firm’s role in reacting to the climate emergency, human-centric design, ESG and Corporate Responsibility, and other ‘value propositions’.
We push ourselves to think differently and we produce work of the highest quality that we are all proud of. You’ll have the opportunity to make a difference, to be creative, and to have ownership and accountability for your work within a supportive and fun environment.
This role is aimed at someone who is at the beginning of their career in graphic design. We are not expecting you to know and to be able to do everything on day one. We will give you the support you need to develop your role – your design skills, and any specialist skills you can bring to the team.
