IIH Nordic is now looking for a Google Cloud Architect to join our growing team on site in Copenhagen. Your Profile
- You have GCP Machine Learning Engineer certification or demonstrated experience with machine learning products like Vertex AI, or experience in traditional machine learning projects.
- You hold a GCP Data Engineer certification or have significant experience with GCP tools like BigQuery, Airflow, Dataform, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Logging.
- You are certified as a GCP Cloud Architect or have substantial experience with Cloud Build, AppEngine, Cloud Run, and Cloud Load Balancer.
- Strong capabilities with SQL and Python, as well as experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization using Docker.
- You have a solid understanding of privacy standards and regulations, including those for European (GDPR) and US (CCPA) markets.
- Experience with Looker Studio and Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with GTM Server-Side and GA4 BigQuery exports is a plus.
- You have experience in SaaS development and Generative AI projects.
- You possess knowledge of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Google Restricted and Private Services, VPC sharing, and VPC peering.
The Role
As a Google Cloud Architect at IIH Nordic, you will:
- Design & Architect Solutions: Lead the design and architecture of technical solutions with a focus on stability, scalability, security, and commercial value.
- Technical Leadership: Set standards for resolving technical issues, lead and mentor the engineering team, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Coding & Code Review: Actively participate in coding and review processes, ensuring top-quality output.
- Product Development: Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of IIH Nordic’s product catalog and internal tools.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee and monitor infrastructure for live products, ensuring incident resolution procedures are in place.
- Security Standards: Set and enforce cloud security standards, ensuring compliance with the latest privacy regulations.
- Client Engagement: Support the business development team in winning, retaining, and growing Tier 1 & Tier 2 clients through innovative cloud solutions.
- Innovation: Recognize and explore emerging trends in cloud technologies and data analytics, contributing to new product development areas.
Work With Others
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master and Product Managers to gather and implement technical requirements. Set technical standards and collaborate with Engineers, Data Scientists, and other specialist functions across the organization.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor team members to maintain technical excellence and promote knowledge sharing.
