Purpose of position

As the Global Partnership Development Manager you will be responsible for the proactive recruitment, onboarding, development and GP generation of new global partners on the Awin network. Your role will be split into two main areas. New Business Development covering the sourcing, recruitment and onboarding of new high value, strategic partners and Partnership Development, which will see you be responsible for then growing and incubating these partnerships to success on the network. You’ll be an integral part of the team driving forward innovation and working with other departments including Product to push the boundaries of what Partnership at Awin can deliver.

Your work focuses on operational execution, driving mid/short-term objectives, concrete activities and tasks, which in turn provide consistent progress on the broader strategic initiatives set within the team, office and company.

Key Tasks

  • Take on ownership of commercial targets for Global Partnership development
  • Own the two year incubation cycle for new high value or strategic partners ensuring they are growing on our network
  • Ensure that all new Partners in the Partnership Sales Pipeline are qualified and distributed to local teams and ensure they have the support they require to be successful
  • Sell in new Global Partners to the Global Account Management team and their advertisers
  • Pro-actively seek out new high commercial and strategic value partnerships that will move the needle when onboarded
  • Research growing verticals within the Awin network and develop a sales pipeline of new partners in these verticals to contact and onboard
  • Own commercial and legal negotiations, escalating to senior team members when required
  • Maintain and develop standardised Partnership Development processes to be utilised across the group

Skills & Expertise

  • Highly commercially focused and target/results-driven
  • Effective relationship-builder with an assertive approach to develop connections at all levels of seniority
  • Able to identify business needs and translate these into valuable GP generating opportunities
  • Possess strong and professional communication skills (verbal & written) and an ability to exchange information with others clearly and concisely
  • Strong analytical skills, being able to review and interpret data to make clear data driven business decisions
  • +3 years’ experience in performance marketing with a focus on business development and/or sales
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (BSc, BA) or comparable degree in relevant field, Masters preferred
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of additional European languages preferred)
