Job Description

As a Game Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing gameplay-related features, notably Operators, 3C and game balance. Your goal will be to maintain a gameplay experience that is dynamic, fresh and fair, particularly for high-level players. This role requires an excellent understanding of game mechanics and player behavior, analytical and critical thinking, and a strong ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with teams: work closely with art, technical and design teams to bring Operators and gameplay features to life.
  • Adapt and plan content: break down existing Operators and new gameplay features into tasks within the scope of Rainbow Six Siege to ensure clear and efficient execution.
  • Analyze and balance the game in partnership with Analytics and Community teams: evaluate game balance and player feedback to recommend adjustments to weapons, Operators and systems.
  • Improve existing systems: iterate on current mechanics to maintain an intuitive, modern experience perfectly suited for mobile platforms.
  • Document and communicate concepts: write and update design documentation, including detailed specifications for each Operator and feature.
  • Stay aware of the industry: follow market trends and competing games to ensure gameplay remains innovative, challenging and competitive.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • At least 5 years of game design experience, ideally specialized in gameplay systems or 3C.
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, balancing and player psychology.
  • Proficiency with design tools (Unity preferred).
  • Ability to creatively and innovatively adapt Siege Operators and gameplay for the mobile experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong aptitude for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team environment.
