Introduction

Join our Financial Sponsor Department as an intern and play a pivotal role within our Fund Finance Origination team.

This team is at the forefront of managing relationships with both international and domestic alternative asset managers. You will participate in a variety of fund financing transactions, including subscription lines, GP financing, Hybrid, and NAV Facilities.

You will dive into a dynamic setting offering daily growth opportunities and collaborate with professionals in a supportive, international environment.

Activities

As an intern in the Fund Finance Origination team, you will deal with several activities, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting the team in identifying fund finance opportunities with clients
  • Participating in specified aspects of portfolio management and daily account maintenance
  • Preparing supporting materials such as presentations, committee documents, transaction pipelines, and business memos
  • Providing market intelligence and research analysis on specific topics
  • Collaborate with other relationship teams in US, UK, Italy and relevant structuring teams

  • Gain practical experience in executing fund financing transactions
  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Learn and stay updated on market trends in the Private Capital space as well as on regulatory changes, understanding their impact on fund financing strategies
  • Develop time management and multitasking skills through managing concurrent tasks within a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Economics or related field
  • Prior experience in investment banking preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, with proficiency in English
  • Ability to stay organized, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
