Scope and activities

We are looking for a Functional Analyst in the Information and Communication Technology area within the Banking sector, who has participated in the management of high-complexity projects with security and trust, developing synergies and inclusion.

The resource will be placed within the Retail Finance team and will follow complex application transformation projects within Group Technology investments of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, integrating product innovations and new technologies.

The profile is complemented by experience or an aptitude for project planning and monitoring, the ability to manage relationships with suppliers and a general knowledge of reference technologies in the sector.

In this context the resource will:

  • Analyze with the Bank's users the Business requirements and needs in order to detail the functional specifications and evaluate the impacts on the software, independently managing the entire cycle of drafting functional analyses, including validation with internal clients and stakeholders, taking care of all aspects necessary to feed subsequent phases of technical analysis and software development
  • Contribute to preparing estimates and functional analyses
  • Analyze processes and ensure their evolution over time, identifying the most effective solutions for the internal or external client, and the most performant from an IT perspective
  • Draft AFU (functional analyses) in a format compatible with the Function Point methodology in order to assign them to the technical development team after validation by the relevant user

Experience Required

From 1 to 3 years of experience as a functional analyst gained by participating in IT projects

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications required

  • Degree in Economics and Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics
  • English language: Fluent
  • Excellent knowledge of office automation tools - Office 365
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies Agile, Waterfall and of project phases in IT and estimation methodologies using Function Point
  • Autonomy in collecting functional requirements, in drafting functional analyses compatible with the Function Point methodology and directly usable in the software life cycle
  • Experience interacting with software engineering & development factories

Preferred requirements:

  • Knowledge of banking processes
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages and relational databases
  • Knowledge of design tools, reporting and test phase management tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, ALM)
