You are a software developer loving to code and ready to take on the challenge of a lifetime? Join WorkFlex - the fastest-growing start-up, backed by the most prominent VC funds and angel investors, and build our software from scratch!
WorkFlex is a B2B SaaS platform that enables employers to allow their employees to work from anywhere without facing any compliance risks. We're on the hunt for talented software developers to help us build our next-gen platform. You will report directly to our Head of Engineering and be one of the first on board. We have 500+ clients using WorkFlex already, including Scout24, Biontech, Vodafone, Flix, and others. Together with the team, you will contribute to growing our team, clients and ARR.
🎯 What you will do
- You and the team will plan, develop, operate, and own our workation and business travel platform.
- Set up the technical cloud infrastructure, and decide what frameworks and technologies to use for our products together with the team.
- Develop software in an agile way with Spring Boot and Java in the backend.
- Build frontends and UIs with Typescript and Angular together with our product managers on an equal footing.
- Implement and integrate security best practices, including penetration testing, to ensure robust and secure applications.
- Use AI tools like Co-Pilot, Cursor or Lovable regularly in day to day.
- Work on novel topics and state-of-the-art technologies, learn, and grow at a fast-paced start-up.
⭐ What you need to succeed
- You have a strong passion for technology and love to code.
- You know your stuff: If you focus more on backend processes, you are experienced with Spring Boot and Java. If you focus more on the frontends, you know all about Angular and Typescript. Since this is a Full-stack role, you have to expect to work in both areas.
- You have a solid understanding of IT security principles, including experience with penetration testing and integrating security best practices into your development workflow.
- You know how to use AI tools to make your job easier and more fun.
- You are interested in or have worked with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL before.
- You are interested in or experienced with automated build and deployment processes with git and container solutions like Docker.
- You are interested in or experienced with DevOps topics like setting up continuous quality control systems for alerting, monitoring, smart logging, and maybe SIEM.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You are self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently in a fully remote team setup.
- You have a strong sense of ownership.
- You are fluent in English.
