Paid Working hours per week: 20 Hours Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build an MVP for a 360-degree virtual tour web app. In this role, you will tackle unique technical challenges, develop both front-end and back-end systems, and collaborate closely with the founder to bring the vision to life. Key responsibilities include database management, SSO integration, and payment system implementation. Responsibilities:
- Develop a sophisticated web application using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create interactive 360-degree virtual tours from user-uploaded photos.
- Design and implement a robust database structure to efficiently store and manage user data and virtual tour information.
- Integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) for a seamless and secure user authentication experience.
- Implement a reliable payment system to handle user subscriptions and transactions.
- Research and integrate open-source solutions for photo mapping and 360-degree panorama creation, optimizing for performance and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with the founder to translate design files and wireframes into functional, user-friendly features.
- Optimize the application for scalability, ensuring it can handle increasing user loads as the business grows.
- Play a key role in developing an MVP within a 1-2 month timeframe, setting the foundation for future product iterations.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the product’s functionality and user experience.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience in full-stack web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a keen eye for creating responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Solid experience with database management systems and API integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to implement SSO and integrate payment gateways in web applications.
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and implement novel solutions for unique technical challenges.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of working efficiently in a remote setting.
- Passion for creating innovative technology solutions in the digital memory preservation space.
- Ability to work part-time (20 hours per week), with potential for increased hours as the project evolves.
- Willingness to commit to an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project success.
