Introduction

We are looking for high-caliber graduate students in Mathematics, Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related fields who are interested in working in the Fixed Income Sales team, coming into contact with the capital markets products traded at the Rates and Credit desk in London.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-cultural team, comprised of professionals with varied backgrounds who are dedicated to the daily activities associated with the origination, evaluation, credit process and monitoring of project finance transactions in an international bank.

Teamworking, problem solving and analytical skills are what we are looking for in our new colleagues.

Activities

• Preparation of daily market commentaries and flow reports to distribute to the other desk of the bank.

• Primary orders monitoring and analysis.

• Monitoring of client secondary and primary trading activity as well as produce sales credit reports per product/desk.

• Analysis of axes and client flow to come up with trading ideas to support the sales and trading activity.

• Support the desk in the client trade reconciliations together with the back/middle office.

What you will learn

  • You will support the team in analysing the financial market and the desks activities, preparing reports on client production and market activity as well as helping out in the daily tasks of the desk.
  • You will learn how an International bank such as Intesa Sanpaolo support the business developments of its Clients globally

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degrees or Master’s Degrees in Mathematics, Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration;
  • Strong interest in financial markets and capital markets products.
  • Solid analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg/Reuters is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Those who pass this first step will receive an invitation for a technical interview with the relevant Division. Each candidate will receive feedback, regardless of the result.
