The role
We have brand new role in the Finance Data Systems and Change Team for an Finance Data Product Owner to own, evolve and deliver the product vision and roadmap for the finance data platform, ensuring it aligns with overall business and data strategy. This a brilliant opportunity to drive change and help shape and mould the future of Phoenix’s finance systems.
The successful applicant will blend technical and Finance expertise with a passion for driving the business forward through the access and availability of data. This person has an opportunity to work with IT and Finance to shape, design and build the data strategy and Finance data platform.
You will act as agent of change, utilising Agile methodology to Partner with design teams to develop approaches in line with Product Principles, provide critical feedback, challenge assumptions, and drive pragmatic solutions that balance technical excellence with business needs.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in leading and managing data product teams within a complex organization, preferably in the financial services industry
- Deep understanding of the platform / product principles and agile methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Energy and passion for Data and the opportunities this can drive for an organisation
- Excellent communication skills, happy to challenge the status quo and sees the big picture
