Facilities Engineer

Purpose and Activities:

• Management and monitoring of systems to ensure full operational continuity of the Bank's IT systems.
• Verification and supervision of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions.
• Special attention to mechanical systems, HVAC and BMS supervision systems.
• Management of maintenance contracts for both buildings and services for personnel.
• Implementation and validation of plant interventions, both for Data Center facilities and, if necessary, for other bank properties.
• Design activities through preparation of feasibility studies, macroeconomic analyses and preliminary designs, producing the technical documentation required for tenders.
• Certification activities and periodic inspections required by regulatory bodies.
• Management of energy efficiency projects and supervision of systems through dedicated BMS software.
• Preparation, management and monitoring of the budget for plant interventions, management of relations with authorization bodies and with contracting companies involved in design and maintenance activities.

Experience Required:

At least 5 years of experience gained at plant engineering firms, technical offices or engineering companies specialized in this field.

Qualifications, Skills and Competences:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent knowledge of key technical standards: fire prevention, electrical and mechanical systems, power generation, energy containment
• Knowledge of workplace safety legislation
• Proficiency with IT tools
• Proficiency in English
• Competence in managing complex systems, in design and site organization

Preferred:

• Experience in design and technical management of Data Centers
• Previous experience in Facility Management in complex structures or large buildings
• Specific skills on HVAC systems, BMS systems and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)
