Mercor is recruiting expert US/Europe-based senior SWEs for a highly challenging project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

You are a good fit if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience working at top US tech firms
• Are passionate about improving model capabilities at complex SWE tasks

About the role

• The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule
• You must be able to commit around 20 hours per week for this role
• This contract is expected to last several months and includes promotion opportunities within the project
• Successful contributions increase the odds that you are selected on future projects with Mercor

Vetting process

• 30 minute AI interview
• Asynchronous SWE exercise and project instructions quiz (2h total, paid $100 for completion)

Pay and legal status

• This role will pay $150-210/h depending on geography and experience-level
• We will pay you out weekly via Stripe Connect based on the number of hours you log
• You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor
• Please note that we cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates
