This position will be based out of our Washington DC office.
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support two Managing Partners directing Avoq’s creative, content, and advertising practices. This position requires excellent organization, writing, and interpersonal skills and is the point of contact for partners. Ambition, discretion and strong communication and organization skills are highly valued.
WHO YOU ARE
- Someone with a strong attention to detail, a desire to dig into complex client issues, and possess the ability to adjust and adapt as client priorities change.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with executives and senior staff
- Discretion in handling sensitive information
- Able to accept assignments outside of regular work hours when necessary
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Administrative:
- General administrative support including managing appointment calendars and daily schedule, organize expense reports, and coordinate travel
- Proof-read and/or draft internally and externally facing documents
- Prioritize incoming internal and external requests
- Support administrative team in planning and coordinating firm-wide events and activities
- Attend meetings, take notes and organize follow up actions
- Miscellaneous assignments from partners
Project and Relationship Management:
- Manage special projects or initiatives on behalf of partners
- Coordinate the creation and review of relevant materials for company meetings
- Facilitate internal and external meetings, greet guests and manage daily schedule
- Coordinate briefing material for partners prior to meetings; manage follow up
- Assist partners in prioritizing team requests and time management for deadlines
- As a qualified candidate, you have experience in:
- At least 2 years of relevant administrative support experience
- Detail oriented, able to multi-task and comfortable leading project and process management
- Working and comfortable in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
- Exceptional verbal, listening, writing and editing communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other similar software
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- May require travel, overtime and attendance at client promotional and professional functions.
- Work in the office 3 days/week.

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $75,000
