ESG Project Manager

PanzerGlass

In 2022 we started a 4 day work week pilot (reducing the work week by 7 hours, without reducing the salary).

Only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Hinnerup, Denmark ⚠️

Are you ready to embark on a journey toward a 4-day workweek? Can you see yourself playing an important role in our Global Sustainability Team? Do you excel at managing ESG projects on a global scale? If so, get ready to join our exceptional organization.

PanzerGlass® is a leading brand in global screen protection, dedicated to continuous innovation across all facets of our business. As an ESG Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Sustainability team and implementing the ESG framework. Your base will be our office in Hinnerup where you will report to the VP of Sustainability & ESG.

As part of the Global Sustainability team, you will take charge of navigating the rapidly expanding landscape under the EU Green Deal. This entails managing the increasingly complex regulatory environment, which drives demand from investors and customers for transparent reporting on our sustainability performance.

Key responsibilities

You will be working closely with colleagues throughout the entire global organisation and with external partners. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing and implementing the PanzerGlass ESG disclosure framework, including staying abreast of regulatory developments in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and EU Taxonomy.
  • Driving improvement in internal auditing of ESG data and data quality through the establishment of a robust process and control landscape.
  • Developing ESG risk reporting mechanisms.
  • Leading contributions to sustainability reporting efforts and enabling a comprehensive understanding of the reporting landscape within PanzerGlass.
  • Participating in sustainability projects aimed at delivering reliable and complete data.
  • Utilizing data, data models, and digital tools to support initiatives.
  • Leading projects focused on optimizing and automating systems and processes.

Your profile

You should possess a relevant university degree in economics, finance, or a similar field, along with strong project leadership skills. Your experience with ESG data and reporting is crucial for this role, and your genuine passion for sustainability should drive your proactive approach to shaping this position.

Experience with CSRD, EU Taxonomy, or GRI standards is preferred. Above all, you thrive in environments where you can facilitate change and contribute to improvement.

Your ability to communicate effectively is key, as you'll need to translate complex messages into clear analyses and presentations. As an expert in Excel, adept at managing large datasets and crafting visualizations, you'll thrive in this role. Moreover, proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is essential, along with fluency in English.
