Scope and purpose

The job responsibilities will include the following:

• the preparation of existing periodic research publications and idea generation of new reporting or ad hoc thematic ideas.
• building models on sector aggregates and sensitivity analysis in cooperation with trading and financial engineering;
• the generation of investment ideas and strategies around fund flows, sector analysis, style analysis and stock analysis, utilizing proprietary investment research and financial modelling;
• marketing the Firm’s equity views and best investment ideas to our internal sales force, trading, proprietary desk as well as a global client base, both corporate and istitutional

Esperienza Richiesta

+10 years experience in equity research both single name or sectorial, investment analysis or portfolio management /asset management

<10 years experience is anyway considered if skills and knowledge of the candidate are up to the profile needed

Skills required

• master degree in finance or economics with concentration in analytical/statistical coursework. CFA preferred.
• ability to effectively multi-task and collaborate with a high team spirit, as well as ability to work independently (i.e., a self-starter).
• good IT skill (knowledge of programming languages like Matlab or R  is a plus)
• strong analytical, quantitative, and communication and public speaking skills
• knowledge of the institutional and corporate marketplace, financial markets and of portfolio management strategy; experience in investment analysis for insurance companies, asset management or pension funds is considered a plus
• high knowledge derivatives/structured products capabilities and experience in products for retail are considered a plus
