Scope and Purpose

We are on the lookout for highly qualified individuals eager to embark on a rewarding career path within our Equity Research team, focusing on Automotive/Industrial, Financial, Consumer, and Basic Materials sectors.

  • Perform Comprehensive Research: Undertake thorough research and craft detailed reports leveraging fundamental analysis and key financial indicators to evaluate the performance of publicly traded companies within the designated sector.
  • Rate Investments: Provide investment ratings for the stocks under coverage, aiming to guide our institutional clients in making informed investment decisions.
  • Enhance Valuation Models: Construct sophisticated earnings models and apply a variety of valuation methods to support your financial analyses with solid quantitative backing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Coverage and Updates: Generate comprehensive initiation of coverage reports, provide timely updates on covered stocks, and conduct in-depth sector analyses to offer fresh perspectives and insights.
  • Empower Sales and Trading Teams: Act as a key resource for our equity sales and trading teams by supplying them with cutting-edge research and market insights, thereby enhancing their ability to serve clients effectively.
  • Drive Marketing Efforts: Take an active role in marketing initiatives, connecting with both Italian and international investors through a mix of conference calls, personal meetings, and roadshows to articulate investment opportunities and market insights.
  • Support IPO Processes: Play a key role in the creation of IPO reports for upcoming market entries, offering critical analysis and insights to support primary market operations and investor decision-making.

Required Experience

Proven experience in equity research, investment banking, or relevant sector-specific roles in planning & control, M&A, or investor relations. Prior experience in European Equity Research is preferred.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Maths, Statistics or Engineering.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Deep understanding of financial statement analysis and proficiency in main valuation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel frequently for business.
