Equity Capital Markets Associate

Scope and Purpose

  • Support the Head of ECM and the team in arranging and executing complex deals exploiting the whole array of equity products
  • Support the team in originating ECM transactions providing insights on the market, investors’ appetite and prevailing market sentiment
  • Managing daily interactions with the sales teams globally to further exploit potential opportunities based on investors feedback and interest
  • Liaise with Sales, Research and Trading to deliver capital markets advice to execute deals and support potential incoming transactions
  • Manage the day-by-day execution process, coordinating the Syndicate team and liaising both internally with other teams within Intesa Sanpaolo as well as with clients and advisors
  • Oversighting the bookbuilding process and dealing with the other syndicate desks, ECM desk and clients during live deals

Required Experience

More than 7 years of experience in leading domestic and/or international investment banks.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of ECM products and ability to define tailor-made equity market solutions to Intesa Sanpaolo’s corporate clients
  • Strong and well-established connections with international and domestic institutional investors across UK, US and Continental Europe
  • Fluency in English is essential (both written and spoken), furthermore we do expect a deep knowledge of all tools utilized in executing Syndicate ECM transactions including Bloomberg, Dealogic and S&P suites
