- Perform art research (find written descriptions and visual references);
- Place placeholders and submit modeling and texturing requests to artists;
- Balance artistic aspects with technical constraints;
- Integrate and build assets in the game engine to create and dress a polished scene;
- Ensure integrated work aligns with art direction and gameplay makes sense (test and iterate).
Qualifications:
- Experience in modeling, texturing, lighting and image processing, or other relevant experience;
- Knowledge of 3D software (e.g., 3DS Max or Maya) and optimization techniques;
- Understanding of art fundamentals: lighting, composition, color theory, etc.;
- Curiosity, adaptability and resourcefulness;
- Creativity and attention to detail.
Bonus: Knowledge of 3D scanning and optimization techniques is an asset.
Note: If you require a work permit, your eligibility may depend on your education and years of relevant work experience as required by the government.
