JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale outbound marketing campaigns for home care and healthcare-related businesses. This role will initially focus on managing an existing SMS and email marketing platform (Textedly), with the objective of increasing referral engagement, lead generation, and conversion through consistent, well-analyzed messaging.

The ideal candidate is someone who can own the system end-to-end: content, cadence, segmentation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management & Execution

• Manage and operate SMS and email campaigns using platforms such as Textedly and email marketing tools
• Maintain and optimize segmented contact lists (e.g., referral sources, partners, warm contacts)
• Execute recurring and ad-hoc messaging campaigns using approved templates and schedules
• Ensure compliance with opt-in/opt-out, messaging best practices, and brand guidelines

Content & Messaging

• Develop, refine, and test SMS and email templates tailored to healthcare and referral-based audiences
• Repurpose and refresh existing messaging to improve engagement and response rates
• Use AI tools where appropriate to assist with content generation and optimization
• Align messaging with relationship-based marketing goals (education, reminders, value-driven outreach)

Analytics & Optimization

• Track key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, replies, conversions, and unsubscribes
• Build simple performance reports and insights for stakeholders
• Run basic A/B tests on messaging, timing, and cadence
• Use data to continuously optimize campaigns and recommend improvements

Process Ownership & Scalability

• Take full ownership of the messaging system, ensuring consistency and reliability
• Document workflows, templates, and best practices
• Help transform the SMS/email marketing process into a repeatable service offering that can be applied to other clients

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Must have a strong ability to analyze messaging campaigns, identify gaps between high-performing and underperforming results, and proactively optimize messaging to improve conversion and overall performance.
• Must be familiar with Claude AI.
• Proven experience in SMS and/or email marketing (agency or in-house)
• Hands-on experience with marketing platforms such as Textedly, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools
• Strong written English communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make recommendations
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning a system with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience marketing to healthcare, home care, or B2B referral-based businesses
• Familiarity with CRM systems and contact segmentation strategies
• Experience using AI tools for marketing content or optimization
• Basic understanding of conversion funnels and relationship marketing
