Job Type: Permanent

Location: Based in either the North or South of England with regular travel across the region including overnight stay.

We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at  Standard Life, part of the Phoenix Group as a Senior Investment Development Manager to join our Retail Intermediary Sales  team.

The role

Responsible for leading a regional Retail Intermediary Distribution team for SL and SL International.  The role focuses on leading a team of Business Distribution Managers and Telephone Account Managers to deliver the regional sales plan across products (wrappers) and Standard Life's hero investment funds - SMF & Future Advantage.

This role will also personally drive external relationships with large Financial Advice firms. The role holder will contribute to planning and execution of the Standard Life Intermediary strategy and will monitor and drive account effective account management activity to support the business plan. This role will require effective cross functional working relationships with predominantly marketing but also proposition to help inform and drive the future business strategy.

What are we looking for?

Responsible for building and developing a team of relationship managers to Identify and manage prospective client accounts within agreed sectors, identifying key influencers and establishing relationships.

Clear execution of the Distribution strategy at a regional level across multiple regional hubs to deliver the sales plan.

Forge target market client relationships in order to develop new business opportunities for Standard Life Group.

Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Proposition to support growth in the business plan.

Achieve targeted business activity, including meeting targeted new business and retained existing business , identifying business needs and maximising  the Standard Life value proposition to the Intermediary marketplace
