About the Role...

Qwick is seeking a Director of Data Management to build out and lead our data infrastructure team. You’ll be responsible for setting the vision of data infrastructure at Qwick, all while scaling and supporting the Data team in executing the strategy and vision. This role provides a unique opportunity to lay the foundation for our data infrastructure, build out a world-class data team, and make a permanent mark on the growth of Qwick. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Sales, Engineering, and Finance to develop analysis and execute projects that identify opportunities for scalable business growth.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of strategic leadership experience and data management strategy development.
  • Ability to manage through influence and work cross-functionally across departments to achieve goals.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and a scripting language (such as Python or R).
  • Proven ability to design and architect database and warehousing platforms.
  • Fluency in ETL processes, automation scripts, data pipelines, data warehousing, data modeling, and visualization tools.
  • Experience implementing and analyzing data derived from product utilization and the user experience.
  • Ability to create an organizational data foundation that is scalable, performant, secure, and dynamic for the company’s needs.
  • The insight to take ambiguous problems and craft repeatable solutions that are structured, hypothesis-driven, and data-supported.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing high-volume business output.
  • Broad knowledge of business processes, business metrics, business systems, and interrelationships between organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a servant leadership style with the ability to lead by example when needed.
