Your territory
As part of our innovative Software Development team, you will:
- Play a key role in designing, operating, and optimizing scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS-based infrastructure that powers our innovative solutions
- Define and manage cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK and CloudFormation
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Bitbucket Pipelines
- Continuously improve operational practices and help optimize the way Tractive’s systems are run
- Support the implementation of security best practices across cloud environments, network configurations, and data protection
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using AWS ECS, Docker Swarm, and similar technologies
- Collaborate with senior engineers to grow your skills while actively contributing to team initiatives
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to help ensure system reliability
- Bring in fresh ideas to make Tractive better – you’ll never hear the phrase, “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”
- Continuously grow personally and professionally, take ownership of areas that show potential, and attend workshops that help get to the next level
Your profile
Key requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, ideally in high-scale SaaS environments
- Solid software engineering background with knowledge of distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS (or other cloud platforms), IAC tools (e.g. AWS CDK, Terraform), and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiar with observability tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or New Relic
- Good understanding of cloud security best practices
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Valid Austrian work permit
